LR-1

The LR-1 is a building level instrument used to measure and record the relative

floor level of survey points within and around a building. The measurements can

then be used to determine the nature and extent of foundation subsidence.

The instrument determines vertical displacement by measuring the pressure

exerted on a transducer by an elevated stationary reservoir of liquid.

The instrument has also been used to take site levels prior to excavation.
